We are a family of passionate boaters, we own a 50 foot cruiser/yacht, 23 foot wake
surf boat and a 10 foot pontoon we built ourselves (the Tiki). We love yachting and watersports! All the videos on our website and social media is life and not AI or reposts!
THE IDEA
BUILT FOR OUR OWN BOAT
We developed the Automatic Fenders for ourselves. My wife was not excited about carrying the 10-inch fenders to the bow and finding an aesthetic storage for the fenders was a challenge. Before developing the Automatic Fenders, we tried many solutions from cleats to fender baskets. But we didn’t like the look of the fender baskets and neither the cleats or the baskets solve the need to climb to the bow. We did not plan to make a product out of it; we were looking for a solution for ourselves!
FROM FRIENDS TO A REAL PRODUCT
DEMAND MADE IT HAPPEN
The original Automatic Fender on our cruiser / yacht was not as slick as the one we
have now, still many of our Yacht Club members requested a pair. That was surprising
but you can’t say no to demanding friends...
It took us 4 years from having the first Automatic Fenders working on our boat, until we
understood that we must productize. It was the endless demand, and our son’s (Jon)
persistence that made us productize. It took us about 3 years and 1.5 million US$s to
build the product we wanted: slick, water resistant, self-contained (no electrical
connection to the boat), easy to install, extremely durable and reasonably priced. Jon
did all mechanical engineering by himself; we went through 60 prototypes until we got
the slick one we all loved.

unique installation we will work with you until it works flawlessly, this is our passion and
our hobby. This is a commitment!
